For all who didn’t know.
I’m a UK citizen. I once spent an hour being told by someone of non-European nationality that Northern Ireland was not part of the UK and was part of the Republic of Ireland. Oh and that my passport declaring me to be a citizen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland meant I was wrong and it was the ‘United Kingdom of Great Britain’ AND Northern Ireland.
